Thanks for looking. .. I have a poison b/j and a x-breaker b/j, thinking about buying another one at the super billiard expo. I tried a mezz a while back and liked it, also i hear Lomax makes a good one. Any other suggestions will be appreciated. Before you tell me that this topic has been discussed a million times before, I know and I apologize for it, but I had to ask anyway......thanx again and hit em straight

You have already good break cues, why you want another?
My Mezz Power Break 2, just crack the ferrule, so you decide.
If you really want a break cue buy a Lomax, or an Alex Brick cue.
It's the practice and technique, not the stick.

Your break cues work just fine. Among the better break cues the only time you'll be able to experience a difference is when you really put your weight into the cue and break as hard/fast as you can. Some cues do break harder. Otherwise, in a more controlled break, the difference may be negligible.
That said, I really liked the BK3 when I tried it for a little bit.

I'm not going to go into a sales pitch for our break cues, but I would make one recommendation.
Consider more than just how hard a break cue can break. As has been mentioned above, the most effective break is usually a controlled break. One where you get good energy into the pack, equally as important you control the cue ball.
There are break cues out there that are designed with technology to help you break better. Both with power into the stack, and with control.

I think it matters what game you play and on what size table.
If you are playing 8 ball on a bar box for example anything more than a medium hard break with good control of the q ball is in my opinion is a waste.
