Which custom cue maker do you recommend for a full-splice sneaky pete style cue, and who will make it in the 5/16 X 18 joint?

Is that so? When I spoke with some custom makers, apparently they didn't want my money. Perhaps the 5/16 X 18 joint is low-brow in their opinion. I'm not here to defend one joint style over another. Just looking for a very nice hitting and looking cue I can stick my other shafts on too.
