No, Mark is waaaaaaaaay beyond being an installer, not that he can't do that level of work, he can...but Marks passion is like mine, we both know that our talents don't shine setting up new pool tables, because well...they're new. Now, give either one of us a screwed up, stapled out, worm wood set of rails...and our hearts start pounding, because THEN...we can show our real talents. I envy Mark somewhat, because he gets to rebuild rails all the time, and all different kinds of rails at that, where as I only get to work on a set here and there between jobs for Diamond. So, when it comes to hands on experience rebuilding rails, Mark has been at it a lot longer than I have, I'm just more experienced at building jigs to do the jobs I work on, whereas Mark buys tools for the need. We talk almost everyday, and it's always about rails...and tricks of the trade. I tell Mark what I'm doing and how I'm doing it, he tells me about what he's doing and how. I give Mark ideas on how to do some things easier with jigs, but trust me, I don't tell Mark how to rebuild rails...he knows how to do that. But most important of all, we respect each other as master table mechanics, and respect each others work.
