Which Simonis Grey Is Darker?

As I've said many times about my light..........

It's a cheaper alternative and since I am almost always over at my unattached garage upstairs apartment (pic attached) during the daytime I don't really need a big time light. I am usually not over there at night.

If that changes once the cold weather hits then I will most likely pursue having a much nicer light installed.

And there is always the chance I might sell my Gold Crown IV and move the Diamond Professional into my basement. And, yes, I might also consider buying a new Gold Crown VII as well.

Bottom line is that current light gets the job done.

Stop being oppositional. You have a great table and the light should not be worst available.

Your setup is like a $5000 bike on a $40 car rack .

You need a purpose-specific light, especially "during the daytime".

Couple that with his "I'm looking to spend some money give me some recommendations post." He didn't listen on that post and wont listen now.

Don't like dark cloth.

And since it seems as if most big tournaments are going to Grey I want to get the lightest version of Grey.
Why??? Only MR uses it. Are you planning on getting WNT-good???? FK, you can't even make a ball on the damn break, right??? Why would anyone buy a cloth used on a tour you will never see? Is it blotter or microdot cause you are trippin.

Can we see your current GC IV setup?

I can't believe you use that light for the Diamond still 😥

This is what I currently have on my Gold Crown IV. The table is in the corner of the basement. I guess you could say that's my man cave down there but I don't spend much time down there except in the winter time when I am on my amateur radio station.

Is that a 3-light with fluorescent bulbs from 1999?

Why you doing this to your GC and Diamond tables 🤦‍♂️

Darker….lighter……it really matters very little to me since I think the color grey is just awful for a pool table cloth.
It broke my heart when Sierra Bar & Billiards recovered their Diamond pool tables in grey switching from tournament
blue. It is too light a color for playing pool and I’d rather they have used tournament blue, dark green or even British.
The owners swear they’d never pick grey again as a color for pool table cloth. It’s unattractive but a lot better than red.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but what cloth is everyone using?

I'm now considering a recloth and in two minds on whether to stick with Simonis 860, or should I switch to CPBA, which is what Matchroom/WNT are using.
