There's been some talk about a possible get together on Friday the 22nd.
Don't know if that's going to happen or not but if you're going to make this tournament please add your name to the list above.

The Calcutta almost always EXCEEDS $30,000.00.

i.ll be there

I am hoping to make it

No prob. Got you added. Make sure to introduce yourself to other AZBmembers. Maybe we can get akababycakes to make an announcement at the tournament so the AZBers can get together.

I imagine during the Calcutta might be a good time to get together. I know some of the AZBers won't be there on Friday.

THAT'S IT????
Arguably THE BEST WEEKEND BAR TABLE TOURNAMENT IN AMERICA and only a dozen AZBers going to it? That doesn't make sense.

If you gamble or even if you just like playing in tournaments against tough competitors, this is a tournament that you have a chance at cashing or winning. It is brutal getting 128 players to do a Double Elimination in two days, following a long and lucrative Calcutta but somehow they always manage.

ONE of the nice things about this tournament is that Chris Miller (the owner and playa in his own right) doesn't let the players run roughshod over the Calcutta bidders. ANY HINT of improprieties on the players' part and they are barred for good. I guess that's why the Calcutta buyers don't mind coming back tournament after tournament putting in TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS each and every tournament.

It's kind of fun playing with some of the best bar table players in the world and with the entry fee so low, anyone can afford to play in it.

Hope to see more AZBers there.

ohhh, that's awfully tempting Joey. I might just have to get my passport renewed.
