I don't think any of the decent hotels are "real close" to the pool room but they aren't that far away either. Maybe 15 minutes as I recall.

Name your own price is the best way to get a top quality hotel room at very reasonable prices, especially in Lafayette, LA. Timing is the key, much as it is in breaking a rack wide open, along with a little practice.
 
How is the BIG CALCUTTA tournament shaping up?

I don't want to be one of the guys sitting on the sideline, whining about how I didn't sign up in time.

Guys, as far away as TAMPA, FL have already made their reservations in Lafayette, LA for this SUPER EVENT.
 
This event's Calcutta regularly gets over $50,000.00.

November has NO MEN'S PRO TOURNAMENTS (at least no WPA events) according to my searches. This means that the men pro players will not have any major event to go to EXCEPT THIS ONE.

Look, I just got word tonight that a rather talented player is coming to the White Diamond event. His name is Dennis Orcullo. I've only heard this through ONE reliable source. I need at least one more to confirm this. If anyone is talking to Dennis, let us know in this thread if he says it is so.

With many of the top players not playing in any major events in November, it is possible that this event will break all previous records.

Bring your money, bring your honey and whip that horse into shape and bring him too.

This kind of news always gets me excited. Hope everyone has a good time.
 
I am going to be down there from Indy. Glad to be finally getting an opportunity to check out this major calcutta action tourney. I am wondering about hotels near white diamonds proximity/quality are key for me.

Brent I have that $50 with your name on it! I been playing like Happy....retarded and with no stroke. I'll be lucky to go two and out with the field I hear is coming.
