White diamond glue

same problem

I have recently switched over to a wd tip for breaking. I really do like it, when it stays on:rolleyes: Any advice on what type of glue works best on these. I have had two repair guys put it on for me not to last but a couple of nights. The last time I put it on myself (I had never tried to do that before) and it has lasted about 4 months, until last night. Any suggestions?

They will not stick to every ferrule. The gel loctite super works great, but the ferrule is the key.

I use Loctite super glue gel and have never had a tip come off. I put white diamond on a break cue over 2 years ago using this stuff and its still on there today.
I use the same thing with no problems.

I went to the Dollar General Store and picked up "The Original Super Glue" and I have been not only breaking with it but playing with it for almost a year. Good luck.

What most people are missing is that, although it is important to use a great adhesive, that is not the true problem. The original tips were not adhering well because of the composition of the tip as opposed to the incorrect glue or even operator failure.

The new ones are a cream color while the originals were actually white. The components were changed because of the inconsistency in regards to them popping off. I'm getting this second hand. All I know is that they are one of the best option out there for jumping as well as breaking.
