So what is the deal with these tips. How do they preform? Is there any known problem with them popping off because of there hardness??
Thanks in advance

Good product

I have found them to be very good product. They perform well as a break tip and jump even better. I have found the best set up is to install them on top of a G10 ferrule. As for them popping off...create a small mortise in the back of the tip and a small tenon at the tip of the ferrule. A little epoxy will keep the tip in place.

I've had it on my break cue for about 3 months now. Originally had a one piece phenolic, just squared off the top and used some ultra loctite gel, no problems breaks without the cracking sound and breaks a little better than phenolic as you can put some english on the ball if you want to especially for those 8-ball breaks where you get the 2nd ball down
So I went and ordered a whole bunch from Mr Piconne

they perform great, when greatly installed
i just got three in the mail

Have had one on my j/b cue now for about a year. Installed it flat over a black linen phenolic 'capped' ferrule, and I used some locktite 454. It is an absolute monster j/b tip imho. Easily the best I've ever tried.
