He looks to be playing straight rail and they often moved the cue ball no more the a 1/4 inch. That probably accounts for the very lite grip.

Is it just me... or did anyone forget to realize, other than the fact that he looks like he's got the Bustamante down pat, that President Obama shoots lefty???

first thing (i shoot left) i noticed when i saw this photo.
you don't have to go behind the back on this shot if you shoot right.
President Obama is left-handed, but I'm not sure which way he shoots pool. I'm left-handed as well, but I shoot archery, pool, and swing in baseball right-handed.
