What type of marker (or chalk?) do they use to mark the lines on the Matchroom tables with gray cloth

If you want a more permanent solution, use a marker, a simple normal size Sharpie. I used tailors chalk before, and it fades pretty quickly with use.
And this is the kind I like, Dritz. As hang-the-9 pointed out, chalk marks becomes faint with a couple of weeks of use. This one makes a very fine line. I think they're much finer than the lines on the Matchroom tables. Multiple colors in the refills.
