White point stock

I am looking to build a cue with really white points. Where is a good source for white point stock? I would like pure white to match ivorine or something similar.

Another question I have is how you square up a material like that for points. Can it be run through a planer or is it too hard? My guess is you have to just sand them square.

I did a search but could not find much.

Holly gives you very white point stock. Easy to square also.

Holly is a good choice. Otherwise you can get some ivory substitute plastic from masecraft.

elforyn, but, wow!! expensive.
but it's a whiter white than holly if that's what you're after

Holly....but be careful as some epoxy sealers may yellow the white.
Make sure you seal with a water white sealer.

Or Ivory.........depends on taste and $ you want to spend........also weight may be a factor.
