From 2013 to 2023, the crop of players has certainly changed. Who do you have as your top ten players within that span?

Wendy's I get, because nothing comes close to the baconator. But McDonald's over Burger King?

And while we are on the subject, shake shack is overrated.
I didn't mean to thumb up mcd's. Haven't eaten that crap in prob 20yrs!

Wendy's was acceptable, went there a couple months ago and the $9 thing I used to get is now $15.

Mfers! I'm out!!

Assuming you don't want to see names like:
Joshua Filler
Fedor Gorst
FSR
Ko Pin Chung
Aloysius Yapp
David Alcaide
Klenti Kaci
Skylar Woodward

Then maybe:

Shane Van Boening
Alex Pagulayan
Dennis Orcullo
Jayson Shaw
Darren Appleton
Ko Pin Yi
Jiaqing Wu
Jung Lin Chung
Albin Ouschan
Carlo Biado

these lists inevitably becomes weird as there's no clear cutoff line. appleton came before, but was still a major force up until 2015 for example.. but dennis had some nice tournament wins and one pocket excellence ahead of him. maybe should be phrased better

Such a tough time period because pool went through 3-4 different phases in the last 10 years.

The appleton era was absolutely stellar. Never seen a player with grit like that. He willed his way to those championships.

Dude just had balls…the moment never got too big for him.

Then Albin came along and started becoming the hall of famer he is today.

Meanwhile Orcollo’s making a clean quarter million a year traveling around the state’s gambling and playing tournaments…for basically the whole decade.

Carlo Biado became a tournament monster.

Then the new crop started breaking through…Shaw, Filler, Fedor.

Then Matchroom broke onto the scene and changed the game forever.

Despite all that…SVB probably has to be the answer…he was either winning or in the mix for ALL of this above. He fought all of them and came away with Big wins over everyone in the majors. Multiple World titles, runner ups, US Open wins, Mosconi Cup every year, Bar table championships, One pocket titles, BIG money match wins. The man did it all.

I don't know how you could argue with this list here. I would probably include Filler because of how dominant he has been since turning pro.

Well said. SVB, Alex, Orcullo...at one time they would get down on their belly and play every game from bar table to one pocket...I wonder if MR, with the proposed hectic tourney schedule, has killed the era of challenge matches that TAR ushered in....

Is Alex playing Filler, Shaw, Fedor, Shane, FSR, Kaci, KO's, Chang JL, Raga, Yapp, or Biadofor $$$ in 9 or 10 ball? That's more than 10 right there
