Who builds the Becue, full pool cues, and are they popular?

I understand that the Becue pool cues, and shafts are made in Italy, but I am curious who makes them.

Are they made in a factory, like maybe Longoni? I understand that some brands have a a factory, like Joss for example, build them a line of cues, so I am not sure if Becue is just a small custom shop, or if they are built in a large production cue factory.

Are they very popular? Maybe in Europe, if not in the USA? I see that Dennis Hatch plays with a Becue, and I wonder how he likes it. I assume he likes it a lot, if he is playing good with it.

The reason I ask is because I do not see them up for sale on ebay, for example. Is there any market for them, if one might need to sell one?

Does anyone here play with a full Becue? That is another issue. I have found very few reviews, from players, who have tried one.

I recall Becue being the 1st company who ever tried to market Carbon fiber cues, and it seems like they are still the only company who builds a full Carbon Fiber cue(?). I wonder why that is.

Anyways, thanks a lot for any thoughts about Becue, and their full cues, if you have ever had the opportunity to try one.

Any experience with the Engage 11.8mm shaft? Does the full Carbon Fiber butt feel / hit very good with one of their shafts, in your opinion?

Thank you very much for any thoughts.

I play with the Becue Naked with the Prime M, 12.5. I like it a lot and like the utility of full carbon for cold weather transport and bar play.
I can tell you that the feel of their shafts in your bridge hand is different than any other CF shaft I've tried, and I've tried quite a few. It just feels smoother and less porous maybe, hard to describe. Almost glass like.
They have a cool weight system that makes changing it out a breeze, if you like to experiment with balance and weight.
From what I've seen, they don't seem to bring high resale on the secondary market in the US, for whatever reason. It seems Predator is the big dog here for resale.
If I ever decided to order to specs I would not do the B Lock joint like mine has, and go radial, and I think I would like a leather wrap.
Is it the best hitting cue I've ever played with? Probably not, but it does play nicely. Best looking? Nope, not even close.
I do find myself going back to it though, even though I still like to experiment with different cues and shafts.

They are a very niche market, very few players know about them (outside from the hardcore players like those on AZB), but they are good quality and were early in the CF craze. It's like being a collector of movie posters for Westerns made between 1960 and 1962. The few who do it are probably very passionate and want them, so if you have one and find one of those people, you can sell one to them, but aside from that they are basically just another cue to normal players.

They're made by elves in a fkng cave. wtf, where do you think they're made. their shop is in this indust. park somewhere. https://www.google.com/maps/@45.9601852,12.8634229,3a,75y,189.61h,76.21t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sWyfZx2L_VQeQ1Hj9mOSh7Q!2e0!6shttps://streetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com/v1/thumbnail?cb_client=maps_sv.tactile&w=900&h=600&pitch=13.793250226904206&panoid=WyfZx2L_VQeQ1Hj9mOSh7Q&yaw=189.60969468252807!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MTEzMC4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw== I've only hit their original shaft and i wasn't impressed. i'm sure they're way better now. imo they are extremely pricey. their cheapest cue with their extension is over 1400bux. For comparison a Raven cf cue with extension is around 400ish. I seriously doubt the BeCue does anything playing-wise that would warrant the thousand dollar difference. A lot of tech in them that really is just for tech sake.

Becue makes excellent cues. I've used them, and they are somewhat popular in my pool hall due to one influential player. Better than other cues? No. The shafts are as good as most other CF shafts, but not better.

Becue's big claim to fame is the carbon butt. I think Cuetec now has such a line, the Cynergy X.

you can get all cf butts on cues for 200bux.

I do like that they make a 31" option for their carbon fiber shafts as that is what I use. However I have not hit with any of them. Their butt designs are not quite pleasing to the eye and are pretty high priced. Too me, the designs look a bit Temu. I find it a bit ironic that a overseas foreign country would make a overly patriotic product with a US Flag on and pass on the tariff charges. Their plain models look the best to me.

Jeebus, that looks like something a 1970's beauty pageant contestant from Ohio would use in her, 'talent' segment...high kick, baton twirl, spin, hair flip, tushy shake, wash, rinse, repeat. I would wish for whirled peas and for all the chillin's in africa to find our lord and savior.

Do they actually make it there, or is it built on spec in Asia and then finished there?

I'm very suspicious of companies these days, global supply chain hijinks are just too good to pass up versus the cost of local, in-country production

I don't see them very often, so they might be popular in Italy, but there's so much else to choose from, so Becue doesn't seem to have a particular big market share.
When you look at the pictures that show some of the production facilities it's more basic than you might think. I have spotted a Cuesmith type lathe and a fairly cheap Chinese metal lathe, no idea what other equipment they have. But it's probably a much smaller outfit than you might think.

Oh, very cool.. Thanjs for the info. I thought maybe Becue was the only one who did a full Carbon cue.
