Hoping to ID this conversion. No markings and seems pretty well constructed, though the points on the blank have some filling on the veneers. Maybe the silver ringwork is a clue. Radial pin and stacked leather wrap. Has 2 matching shafts.

Also, not sure what the base wood is on this one - smooth, dense grain and somewhat orange cast. Any ideas?

No idea, ringwork looks a little like M Bender. Nice radial pin, could be one of A Brick's.

Thanks for the tip. I live in Norfolk, so I'll be heading over probably tomorrow. I don't know him, will he be there as a vendor?

If you walk in the front door you will see Bebob publishing on the right and Joe is the next vendor on the left across from Dave Jacoby... Lots of pretty stuff... Michael at Omega is down at the end of the left hall and I saw 2-3 Conversions in his racks.....
