Clearly I'm not the only one. Remember what Ben Franklin said, "Beer is God's way of showing us that he loves us."

I play my best between #2 and #5. After that, all bets are off.

What say you?

(And please, save your anti-booze rants for your own thread. Thanks!)

Not while gambling, but certainly when I'm knocking the balls around with my friends I'll have a pint of Guiness.

I always seem to have a drink when I am shooting. I do know that if there is anything other than a drink on the line though I do not drink. I can tell the difference in my game after even a few drinks. But I do love my friday nights getting tanked with my old man and shooting pool in our "bar"(my avatar).

I need a 36x54.....

A word of advice

I say that there is a poll on this this week (as well as the same question every three or four months).

Fred <~~~ doesn't play pool without drinking

I believe this thread came out the same night as the poll. As for the same question every three or four weeks, that's not exactly right. I asked folks to pinpoint where they peaked (if they did) and where they began to slide.

Thanks for the sermon, but next time save the time and ignore.

Quaffing

Wow I am being educated in english here today. I didnt even know quaffing was a word. Kudos to you!!!

v. quaffed, quaff·ing, quaffs
v.tr.
To drink (a beverage) heartily: quaffed the ale with gusto.
v.intr.
To drink a liquid heartily: quaffed from the spring.
n.
A hearty draft of liquid.

I don't think you are the only one. Beer muscles are one thing, but to flex them over the internet is just pathetic. Probably the biggest dorks are the ones who act the toughest on the internet:).

LOL, Ross nailed you BOB!!! :D :p

Ray
(a couple of aspirin will do the same thing ;))

Oh don't be so melodramatic. I wasn't giving a sermon. You asked "what say you?" So, I said, and I frickin' answered.

The poll also suggested to define a peak.

And I said months, not weeks.

Sheesh.

I agree, and it not only applies to pool playing.

I'm not against drinking at all but I stopped about 10 years ago, health reasons. The times when I have played while drinking I didn't do too well.
MULLY

it's not a sermon, you asked where we peaked, I can't play while drinking
