I bought 2 predator shafts at the US Open last year from Omega Billiards and I was told that the dealers cannot discount new Predator shafts or they will lose their retail license for Predator products. If you want a new Predator shaft you will have to pay retail if you buy it from a dealer unless you know somebody.

Agreed. Also it is worth it to note that the limited lifetime warranty is only available if you bought the shaft from an authorized dealer.
