who in your opinion, plays the best safteys, resulting in ball in hand? my opinion is karen corr, she plays the most and best safteys, that usually, turn out to be full snookers.
 
Good topic. Ralf Souquet, my favourite player also, is good at defence too...it would be nice if Accu-Stats could give some pocketing and safety success rates, like we get in Snooker sometimes.

Sigel. Not even anyone in his realm, the guy can be kicking 4 rails just to hit the ball and he will be playing it safe and get it too.

Of course that's why they called him 'Captain Hook' :) :)
 
Efren for me cause often when he's the one hooked he'll turn around and hook the other player. This guy probably have forgotten alot about pool than some players will ever know.

Efren is the "man", the standard to judge all other pool players by no matter what aspect of the game you're discussing except breaking (nobody is allowed to be perfect). If he doesn't play safetys as often as others it is only because he can turn s**t into gold.
JMHO.
 
According to Accu-Stats, Howard Vickery holds the record for fewest ball pocketed by an opponent after playing a safe. That record may have to do with the frequency rather than the quality of his safes.
 
I'd have to agree - Sigel and Reyes hands down.
