my first choice would be a tye between nick van den berg and niels feijns of the netherlands. two magnificent cueiests, whom there time has come. nick van den berg has the most promise out of all future players, i believe. a kid genius, a boy wonder if you will. not only can he think on his feet, but he can execute with the best of them. niels feijns holds the record for most racks ever run in 9-ball,----- 15 racks! and is a hell of a nice guy. one of these two should win in 2004. next, if one of those two dutch players do not win, i wish that steve davis of england would. a legend of snooker, his 9-ball is among the best in the world. need proof? check out his story book come back against efren reyes in the 2000 world 9-ball championship. perfect play, by steve davis. knowledgable, kind, and open minded davis, deserves a win, and being crowned 9-ball champion of the world. now, if you doesn't win, i'd like to see ralf souquet of germany win it. ralf is my favorite male player now, and he has what it takes, and he is a very nice guy, which is important in the world of pool. and finally, if none of those guys win, i'd like to see francisco bustamante of germany win it. he is a wizard of the cue, and deserves a win, and is a hell of a nice bloke.
