I think Alex is a Canadian no matter what he looks like.
The great American pool player Jose Parica told me that Alex is Canadian, so that's good enough for me.

It appears the 20 year old Filler is playing some strong pool in this event, winning 6 matches in a row after his opening round loss to SVB. Up next for him is Corteza. And 4 Euro's

I think Alex is a Canadian no matter what he looks like. Not a big surprise there are winning Pinoy shooters as it is a huge sport in there country. Much more popular then in the U.S. and many more play there then in any country I am aware of.
Pool is cheap to get into and does not require a bunch of athletic ability. Ain't like many of them are in the NBA or NFL, but they are good fighters!
I remember Jay saying he told Dennis to get and extension so he did not have to use the bridge so often. Hard to believe he does not have a couple of extensions of different lengths. I bet plenty of cue makers would make him a couple for free.
Maybe he could gain a couple of inches with some different shoes if that would help?
I say use the cues you brought to the fight, you are a pro for crap sakes and if any one pops a tip reach in the case and grab another shaft.
Sorry to tell you it aint about looks its about the heritage , in his case he has duel citizenship and he played on the Filipino snooker team alsoI think Alex is a Canadian no matter what he looks like. O'Canada. Ours. Get over it.That about sums it up....dual citizenship.
But Alex is living in Canada and plays for Canada.
He got to Britain as Canadian snooker champion.
He will be playing in world 8,9, and ten ball events this year as current Canadian champ...
...( second in eight ball still gets him invites)
The Mosconi team would look a bit different if some players that are making a living in the
US of A felt the same way.
Canada feels pretty good about Alex representing us....
...I’d rather bet on a Lion than a Beaver.
Kazakis and Aranas 10-10

That’s all fine and dandy but at the end of the day for this conversation he is a Filipino by blood don’t care what flag he hangs around his neck
