This is the screenshot of the event. I'm guessing this will live from the YouTube channel "World Billiard TV".

I believe they usually stream under WPBA

I just checked that channel. I would think this event wouldn't be there because is Predator sponsored and they and CSI
have all of their content at World Billiard TV but I can be wrong.

The commentary on the World Billiard Channel indicates this live event will start at 2pm EDT.

I don't know what that is to Eastern Standard Time but there you go.

its streaming on world billiard tv youtube channel now. Im waiting for allison later this evening. i think she plays at 7pm eastern. Kelly fisher match is starting shortly

not a fan of the shootouts. i wish they would go back to a sudden death rack.
I'm not a fan either, but some who didn't favor the shootouts at first have come to enjoy them, so I'll remain patient and see if it happens in my case. Seems unlikely.

Cue Sports Live is also streaming a side table.

On a different note, when did Jon Leyman become the referee of referees? Seems like he is everywhere these days.
John is a first-rate referee. He has gotten better with age. I feel he was a bit too animated early in his career, but he has come to fully understand that a good referee stays in the background and lets the players have the stage to themselves. Pro pool is very lucky to have John in its domain.

I tuned-in for a bit yesterday, but was left underwhelmed by the commentary and down right embarrassed by the competition I saw.

Kelly Fisher, who is top class both on and off the table faced off against a sub .500 Fargo rate player named Mary Avina. I'm certain she is a lovely woman, but if this is the standard for Women's Pro-Pool, it's a lost cause. I was left wondering why they would chose to stream that match, unless most of the opening round was equally non-competitive.

This event is a sanctioned WPBA event with 75K cash added and they could only put together a field of 44... Then again it literally is being held in nowhere. If you must be hosting an event in Alberta, at least go for Calgary...

Here's a link to the match I watched.
Fisher vs. Avina Canada Open

The level of play here at times doesn't rise to that of a league 5-6 in my area... These CSI Predator events have some prize money, but literally, that's all they have going for them....

ya. I miss the days when the wpba went to venues like mohegan sun casino. It was huge. The crowd was huge. The place is only 2 hours from me. Unfortunately I was a young teen, so I couldn't go to watch any of the events. If they came back today, I would definitely go. One of their last events....the northern lights classic, was also held in the middle of nowhere. They had almost no wifi. The stream was absolutely unwatchable. I hope the wpba can get back to its former glory of the early 2000s.

Mary Avina? Is that the same lady who has a few videos up on YouTube?
