Who is going to watch the Women's event tomorrow on 8/17/22?

John is a first-rate referee. He has gotten better with age. I feel he was a bit too animated early in his career, but he has come to fully understand that a good referee stays in the background and lets the players have the stage to themselves. Pro pool is very lucky to have John in its domain.

I'm not denying his ability as a referee, I just find it surprising how he's all over the place now because outside of Micheala Tabb and a few snooker refs, it's hard to imagine anyone doing the pool referee gig as much as he has and actually making it to this stage. Then again, that's the sign of hard work paying off.

I watched Savannah play some yesterday. She's a nice kid. Played her in a tournament in Vegas.
Women's pool is kind of like WNBA, they have skills but, compared to the men's game.....

there are outliers that are very good, like siming chen and fisher, and a few that i imagine are in 730-range, like tkach, ouschan, pia filler. but then after that the depth of field becomes rather shallow which also makes it kinda tough to watch

I really enjoy watching the top level. Watching the 600-650s isn't the best viewing. They are a challenge to play against in real life. I know a few of the young lady pros, have played against them. They all play good.

Karen Corr must be mid 700's if she still plays. She's had some good results against a lot of men at open events. Turning stone Ginky etc.

Here's a link to the match I watched.
Fisher vs. Avina Canada Open

The level of play here at times doesn't rise to that of a league 5-6 in my area...
That was pretty damn rough. Organizers really should assess the matches before tossng them on the stream table. Sure Kelly is at the top of the heap, but Avina looked like a first year junior league player. IMHO, this showcasing this level of play in a 'pro' event, hurts the game.

Yes, she also beat Ko Pin Yi at the US Open 9-ball while he was the reigning World 9-ball Champion and she beat Earl Strickland in Joss Tour play more than once.

She is, for practical purposes, retired from competition.

I'd bang her.
She even brings a crave case to help you power thru

My coworker ate white castle on Sunday and did not make it in on Monday. Tuesday he told me that his toilet was his permanent chair on Monday.

I don't get it. Everyone says white castle does that to you but everytime I've ever eaten out of there, I'm fine.
Never had the issue with WC.

Just remember to bring a bottle of this after you bang her if you want to be invited back.
