With the long dread locks that used to play one pocket but now is a backer? He may be from Cleveland or Pittsburgh. He's always around where the action is.

Thanks
Andy

His name is Steve....

All I know is his first name is Steve.........I'm 48 now and first saw him hanging around Pinky's Pool Parlor in Turtle Creek, PA over 20 years ago.
But yes, I agree, he always seems to be hanging around any/every pool activity.....with the exception of Valley Forge......I don't recall ever seeing him out there......but who knows......maybe he has been there.......

yeah that's him..He's had a young guy with him for a week or two, doesn't look like much but didn't miss a ball. They were looking to match up with Ben Z from Canton Monday night. Half the pic s and videos from DCC and just about anywhere else you see that Steve guy in the background. Sure has been around awhile.

I played him some about 10-13 years ago around Pittsburgh. Never said 2 words the whole time we were playing. He was eating carrots the whole time we played. He would stick this fat carrot in his mouth while he was shooting and just whittle away at it while he played. Seemed like an interesting guy.

That looks remarkably like a guy I met in southern PN in a town called Chambersburg once.

I don't ever remember anyone calling him Steve, but there was a 20-25 year old white guy that was with him that always just called him "Uncle", or "Unc" for short.

I've seen that guy just about every time I've been at DCC. To me, he looks like he knows some real pool secrets!:D But no, I don't know his name.

His name is Stevie Evans. He is from Pittsburgh. He does not have deep pockets himself, but has access to some people who do. He enjoys taking players on the road to find action. He plays fairly strong one pocket, but does not play much anymore.

He hasn't been outed...He takes his players right to the biggest guns in town. I remember him being a one pocket player 15-20 years ago. Every time I see him I start humming "Electric Avenue" without even thinking about it.:p
Thanks guys

Andy

Looks like Steve Edwards to me. He used to play around Atlanta. Not sure where he stays now. I saw him at Valley Forge in March.
