I'll bid 38 bucks if it's straight.
I'd be scared to buy from Goodwill auctions...I mean somebody donated a POS cue....can't be too many cues there worth buying. See alot of Players there.
A lot of times the better cues seem to come from "clean-outs", in other words somebody died or something and the family is getting rid of some stuff.
There are occasional bargains. But there is a risk.
Their pictures often aren't great either.
I generally wouldn't gamble two much on it, but I have gotten a couple of bargains through Goodwill. Nice cues. And I have yet to get something that was not worth substantially more than I paid.
Of course, you better have a pretty good idea what you are looking at. I commonly see Meucci and McDermott cues sell for way too much there.
This particular cue went way too high way too fast before. I think it will do the same again.
The same people are likely bidding on it.
Personally, I would like it. I would risk a few bucks on it, but unlikely the kind of money where it is headed again.
It just simply isn't worth close to where it went before even if you know it is perfect condition.
What the heck are people thinking?
