Who is this???

"Shane Van Boening (born 14 July 1983) is an American professional pocket billiards (pool) player from Rapid City, South Dakota, currently ranked No.1 in the U.S. Rankings published by the UPA Tour.

Van Boening is hearing-impaired and uses a hearing aid, but it has not limited his pool ability.[1] He has received praise for his attitude towards the sport, partially for his behavior during matches, and for eschewing alcohol."

I tried typing something up, but this was faster and more relevant than my usual banter.

That being said...I don't think it's him, no hearing aid. (He still uses the wrap around types)
Yep that sounds like an answer from Nick....  ;)

Thanks Scott, now you ruined it for everyone else!!!

Eric is without a doubt the most generous host you will ever meet.

I just can't beleive that he trusted such a novice player with his Black Boar!!

Aw geez...Shane got outed in post #2! All I did was place him at Eric's house! You're right, Eric is an incredibly generous host! Now, if only I had 27 extra bedrooms...:D I was just playing some with Black Boar's web designer a couple of weeks ago. Tony makes some amazing cues, for sure!

when i vacuumed the table today there was a small hole in the cloth.....HMMMM....not that I care.

he never stops playing, i thought I was bad about spending(wasting in my case) time playing.

I have noticed a few things about Shane, one is that he has had to work hard to play at his level, I dont think he had the natural talent that JA was born with. I can see a few times he struggles with things here and there. I'm not knocking him at all-he has my full respect(he wouldnt be here if I thought otherwise) he busts his ass to play like he does, I mean he really does, and he keeps at it-when he hads it right he keeps shooting the shot he is working on for a while befor he switches to something else.

Shane is THE future of pool for America, he aint going to go off track, get lazy, get distracted, he is focused and will remain so.

were are having fun. sadly I been working most of the time and not playing muxh this week, I'm out of stroke a little now, I have just watched shane a couple times for 10-15 minutes here and there, since he plays all day nonstop. I take a break and go watch him do things the rest of us cant.... he will be working on his "Walking on water skills this sunday he said" ;) I believe him
