Who is Timothy White?

I agree with you. One does not need to know the whats & whys. One just needs to know the how to get it done.

Not the same for everyone. I like to know the whats and whys. That way, with the knowledge, you can apply it to different situation without having to be taught for every specific situation.

Knowing why let you adjust more quickly I think. Once your brain know why, it can adapt more quickly to different conditions.

But I need to admit that it can hurt your game for a while thought. I guess that's the price to pay to learn the whats&whys!

I'd say most people don't care, but that's exactly why I loved his DVD and why I had him over for a full week! it was TOTALLY worth it!

Cheers :)
