Who is your favorite dark horse?

I saw the match with Shin Young Park where he drilled Alex Lely in the 2003 WPC, he ran the last 6 or 7 racks to win the match. The last game he made an incredible cut on the 2 ball to run a tough rack and win. He is one of my favorites although I don't see much of him.

Yea, I've got that on tape as well. Jeong lost to Tony Drago that year. I think it was hill-hill and Jeong got some bad rolls.
A couple of years ago I had the privilage to watch these two play here in southern california as they were passing through on the way to the BCA event in Las Vegas. Jeong was gambling with King Kong.

Jeong lost 11-9 to Tony, he had a chance to win but he hit a shot very poorly and left himself a tough cut on the 6. They had a safety battle and Jeong tryed to thin the 6 and he scratched in the corner.

By King Kong do you mean Bernardo Chavez? If so Jeong must have been giving up weight, Chavez is a shortstop I think and Jeong is a world class player. Who won?

Yea Bernardo, they played even. I don't think that he knew who he was or how well he played. The first set actually went hill-hill and Bernardo missed a tough 9 ball shot for the cash. And the rest of the sets weren't so close.

Konstantin Stepanov seems to be a top tier player also, perhaps this is his year?

Not really. Last sunday E.Stalev made a good work on him on russian cup finals. 9-3, and Stalev played with no errors, Stepanov made 3. But for now Stalev prefers playing Pyramide and has no pool ranking at all, so he's not presented on WPC.

My dark horse is Rozhkovski. And Darell Pitch from GB.

Dark Horse in the WPC is an oxymoron.

I bet Danny Basavich to win, I think he is about 150 to 1... and Mike Davis is only 125 to 1 or something similar. I like those odds on Danny, with a capability of running 9 racks... anyone could be in trouble.
Are there any stripclubs in Teiwan? Id go to the WPC if they had strippers next door!

Just look out for any Taiwanese players who are not known to the pool world yet. :)

When three Asian qualifiers reached the last sixteen at the 2004 WPC, it was a little surprising, but the secret is out. The abundance of unknown Asians that can shoot the lights out is a fact of life. It wouldn't surprise anyone if one of them had a very high finish.

Hey wassup Nate? It's me Greg.
I thought it was you. How you doin? How you hittin em?

Hey Greg whats up man! Are you still playing the tournaments at Hard Times? I haven't been there in months. I decided it wasn't worth going there if I can't get any sleep! I think everytime I saw you down there I was a zombie because I just can't fall asleep before those tournaments. Right now I'm just relaxing, I took a semester off and I've been playing a few times a week. I'm playing ok, I've been winning the weekly tournaments at Plush fairly often. Next week on Monday 7pm if we get 32 or more players its $600 added, so if you are not busy, stop by! Talk to you later bro
