Stock Instroke Copy

That's a stock Instroke knockoff. Looks like one that was made in Thailand.

Why not buy a real Instroke if you like this style?

It is a very nice case. If it is a knock off it is the first time I ever saw a knockoff made with better materials than the origional.

Yeah, that happens sometimes. It's still a ripoff of my design. If it's at all nice it's because they did a good job copying the original.

It's hilarious. If I were to start knocking off famous cue maker's designs and posting them here then the outrage would be deafening. Post a dead knockoff of a case maker's stuff and it's no problem.

One time this guy knocked our cases off and they were coming out of Pakistan with just wonderful leather, butter soft, gorgeous to the touch, really nice. Only problem was that the cases fell apart pretty quickly because the Pakistani's weren't too terribly concerned with durability. And the interior was done in a flocked nylon material that felt like sandpaper. Betcha some of the people who bought those beauties hated life when their $3000 cue looked like it had been through a sander after a month in that case.

As far as this case having "better" material that's your opinion. I made Instroke cases with all kinds of leather and every quality level there is. So it's correct that this particular case will have "better" leather than some Instroke cases but not nearly all of them.

I know one thing for sure, it's not constructed better. I hope it's one of those where the nails points aren't sticking into the cavity.

I find it really funny that people with high end cues are so careless about what hole they put their stick into.

I do have a German made Instroke

They were great cases. They just don't break. As I said this case isn't mine. I do like the spring loaded latches. But I like the zippers way better. They are very durable.
