I zoomed in on the ebay listing and it is quite noticeable. It also appears to have a press in bumper. After looking at cues for a number of years, one learns what to look for. My vote is Players. They made Meucci copies for a bit. A 5/16x18 pin removes quite a few quality cue makers. Then look at the pilot. Joss uses a small pilot, Schon uses a phenolic sleeved pilot, Scruggs, I don't recall, though I think he used a wooden sleeve. The buttsleeve style is consistent with a high end JW, butt the there would be a clear distinction between inlay materials. What it does have going for it is a nice forearm.
The wrap looks like standard import crap from the 80's too
This is roughly what the buttsleeve is copying.
Sent my early 80's ultra rare 1 of 1 Runde era Schon to the Pete's to do a litte TLC... Shafts are now perfect and the fit perfect as well. The wrap is now perfect also. The whole cue is just a stellar collectible that hits REAL nice.... They're one of a very select few I would trust to work on...
