Who will be in Baltimore?

I'll be there Thur, Fri, & Sat working the InsidePOOL booth.
I'm a little less than 2 hrs from Baltimore and I've been there a couple of times. The waterfront area is beautiful. They've got a ton of restaurants, a nice mall, and a gorgeous aquarium. I was told yesterday that I'll be going to a piano bar called "howl at the moon" or something like that. I've always enjoyed the piano bars (Dueling pianos with a comedic act) so I'm looking forward to checking this one out in Baltimore.

I think you mean Ft. McHenry. the Water Taxi will take you there too Richard. It takes Three stops. Inner Harbor, Fells Point, Ft. Huh - Wasnt Baltimore famous for beautiful brownstones with marble steps that the ladies scrubbed fastidiously?

Yep, but you wouldnt know that now. now the majority of those neighborhoods have turned into ghettos and the Marble steps which were once the pride of Baltimore are just dirty and broken up eye sores. It really pisses me off.Nostroke said:

Not sure why they charge so much to see the exhibitors, but this is kind of standard for most industry only events I guess. $50 is nothing if it's for business, but for an enthusiast, it's a bit steep.

Gregg...You cannot get into the exhibit area, even if you pay $50. You MUST be a BCA business member to get into the BCA show...with the exception of the things going on Sat. 8/11, and that does not include the exhibitor area. The BCA show is a wholesale show for people in the billiard industry. The $50 is what BCA business members pay for a badge to get into the show.

Well, Im by nature a very pessimistic person, but I will say that certain parts of the city that were getting sh!tty have turned around and the rowhomes are now selling for about 300,000-500,00 thousand in that area since it is the new place to be. So that is looking up and fortunately it is starting to spread to the outside areas again. I just hope one day to see them shining again and see the residents outside cleaning them and taking pride in it.Nostroke said:

They are doing that mostly because they do not want the public to know the wholesale pricings, or to see new unreleased products. You might still be able to check out some vendors, but I am not sure.
I really want to check out the harbor. I like heritage buildings, and I really enjoy visiting different cities and countries with different cultures.
