As Mike has posted on the front page of AZBilliards, who do you think will win the 2004 Greatest Player BCA Hall of Fame Inductee and why?

Allen Hopkins

Ewa Mataya Laurence

Earl Strickland

I would say Allen.

Earl is the most accomplished of the 3 but he still plays. Active players should not be considered. Earl will be in the Hall of Fame in time for sure.

Ewa is probably the least accomplished player of the 3. She did not do alot on the womens scene. She was not the top player for that long. And she basically quit playing when she should have been in her prime. She is not very old and what has she done in the last 8 or so years? If commentating is enough to get you into the Hall of Fame I will take Billy Incardona over Ewa.

Have you looked at Incardona lately, lol. Yes, you have a point Celtic.

Even if Incardona doesn't get into the Hall of Fame, I think he deserves some sort of recognition. He's so much better than the British commentators who do not know enough about the game and keep talking about the same things.

It will either be Allen or Earl, I don't think it matters in the long run as both players both deserve to be inducted.

I'd have to say Allen this year, but Ewa's gonna get there some day.....she's been an accomplished player, an anouncer, and an author in the sport.

The only thing she hasn't done better than a certain Fat guy we all know about, is flap her gums.....and he's in the Hall.

I'd pick Allen because he's won a number of straight pool and one pocket events, as well as numerous nine ball events. Earl may be one of the top two or three nine ball shooters of all time and will probably go in the Hall, but I like Allens' variety of championships.
Earl seems to maintain his level of play better than anyone else and will end his career with a ridiculous number of tourney wins; he'll go in, it's just a matter of time.

I must disagree with 'Cuda and Joseph. While there is no doubt that Earl Strickland will one day be inducted into the HOF, I think that Allen Hopkins will get the call this year. He was on the ballot a few years ago and is certainly a deserving individual.
