who won last tar match???????

Shane won em all..... His is the greatest player on this planet. I truly believe Reyes would've needed weight in his best day. This kid is the real deal.

I'm guessing you're referring to the arm "weights" earl wears! That is about as absurd as SVB asking for weight playing ten ball or asking for break lessons. I mean realistically who could give it to him?

If so, post a large sum or take all bets then, let efren rest for a couple weeks, Next, play One race first to five in One Pocket....you might be surprised at how much action you'll get.
Your comments are similar to First Direction this am on Fox News....saying they were equal to the Beatles. Or the ego of Katie Perry changing the words to one of the Beatles songs during their tribute. Poor parenting or lack of most always causes this type of Behavior.

I'm also going to toss in a little common sense is gone.....this am in Colorado springs it's below freezing and there are lines at the car wash, its pretty difficult to get out of your car when the door seals are frozen shut, but if ya push Hard enough you can get the door open while tearing your door seals off, but hey, that's a learning cure right :).

Bingo.... Efren, in his hey day, was a monster. And even today, give the man some rest and then play. He isn't 30 any longer.

Man Effren doged it a couple of times!!!! He could have win the 9ball and rotation matches from my point of view; Shane gave to him many times. I didnt see the OP match on friday, but I bet he had chances too. Effrenjumped in front with enough lead to keep up with Shane in the later rounds of the matches when Shane started braking good on Sat and Sunday, but he doged it.

For Effrens age he still plays amazing! I really think a young Effren would have never doged those balls and we would have different results.

This comes from SVB hard core fan!

Dogging is most likely NOT the right word, tired and worn out from DCC and two weeks of play/travel is more....REAL. Once you hit that wall its nearly the same as when your blood sugar gets out of balance during play and you need to EAT. When I interviewed Fat's wife after his death she said, their vacations were aONLY at home, because after two weeks or so out their workin' it and playing, you needed your REST. A rested Efren, with Allot of cash on the line, is like trying to keep Great White Sharks from eating their prey when the blood is already in the water. Good Luck

Here's another thought, very similar to yours but from this perspective. If you have ever played a sport or game of any type at an extremely High level, if your not well rested....the fatigue will change Any Man....once that sets in ''its not the same player'' Anymore. That might be just cause to think his actions appear as a doggin it, but in reality............................:scratchhead:

Hope this helps, been on a rant today, don't know why, oh well....

When all is said and done, I wouldn't be surprised if Shane's best game is better than Reyes's. That being said, I don't think we've seen Shane's best game yet. Think about how scary that might be...

Efren in his prime, which is before anyone in the states had ever heard of him from what I understand, would have beat the best Efren we've seen. So what does that say about his prime?

When it comes to all time greats, no matter the sport, or subject it's simply an exercise in gum flapping.

That being said, 10-20 years from now, I think we look back, and Shane will be amoung the best, and so will Efren.

Not wanting to take anything away from Efren whatsoever. A few positive comments in Shane's defense, if I will.

- Efren never had a break like Shane does, in his prime or in his dreams
- Shane jumps extremely well with both short and full length cues

When Efren came over to the USA he won a lot gambling, but for a long time he struggled to win finals of major tournaments. Even though Shane wins many domestic tournaments and wins a lot gambling even abroad, people give him crap for not winning the big international events.

Efren eventually started winning more abroad and I suspect Shane will, too.

Who thought Shane had a chance of beating Efren at rotation? And coming from behind, to boot? Whether Efren was tired or not, that is damn strong. He played Efren's chosen game and won.

Anyway, what a pleasure that we can even see them play. Otherwise AZ would be full of hypothetical threads like "Could an SVB from 2014 beat an aging Efren at rotation?". :grin-square:

Very true, especially if he had pool tour in front of em like the PGA oh well. I've always thought the same of Efren, I'm sure he woulda been on that wagon also.
