2002 is the first year that we will be announcing a rookie of the year. I know that it is a bit late, but I am expecting to make our announcement in the next day or so. (Finishing up the interview)

Reading Inside Pool magazine, I read that Tony received Player and Sportsman of the year on the TK tour. Shouldn't he be in pole position for the AZ Rookie of the year as he seems to be a high placed finisher in all the tourneys he has played in.

But the UPA rookie of the year only counted UPA events for their choice. Our choice was based on more events.
