Brother it was a star-studded field. Melling is a champion and he played like one.

When Chris breaks and spreads the balls, it's pretty much over. If along the way he winds up in a tight spot-He CAN come with the hero shot but if necessary he can 1, 2 or 3 rail safe you shot after shot also.

At one time he was playing Pro 9 Ball, British 8 Ball and Snooker at the same time. If he concentrated on 9 and 10 Ball ( i'm in no way suggesting he should ) only- I think he would be considered elite by everyone. I have to believe it is difficult to get in 9 Ball stroke after playing either or both of the others.
