Whoa...that's different!

Is the new skin compatible with Firefox, or is it a cookie issue, that is causing it?

Thanks,
Tracy
I cleared the cookies in Firefox and it is now displaying the new skin. UPDATE: Everything was new, until I logged in, then it reverted to the old skin. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Yes, since the old skin is still available as an option, existing cookies will use it as your skin of choice. If you switch (or clear your cookies), the new skin is used.

Just choose the new skin if you want it. Lower left portion of just about any screen.

I don't see it in the other theme, either. Where was it?

I don't believe the WEI Table is in either theme. I think he was asking if you could add it to the forum so that other can just clik here to get it to come up...obviously in a new browser window.

I love the new look! I'm glad you changed the color where the message is - the light grey realy hurt my eyes and i have perfect vision (unless intoxicated)!!!

I see. I can probably add it to the quick "Links" menu at the top. I have another idea though, see if you guys like this... (I'll post again when it's ready).

How's this?

CueTable Help

Just put [wei]START(%AN7O5%BL7P8%CJ5O4%DL7N1%EM7P1%FK6P1%GK6N8%HM7N8%IL7O3%Pg9D7)END[wei] in and it will embed your Wei table. This will work in either skin...

Please note that the red is only to highlight the little tags. You don't need to make them red (or any other color).

Note: Take out any line breaks so that the START()END string is one long line. Otherwise, vBulletin adds <br /> tags, which can muck things up.

BTW, the Wei table is also linked in the "Links" menu at the top. Because of the way menus work in this theme and how your browser might be configured to block popups, etc., it may not open in a new window for you. You can always use the contextual menu to open it if you'd like (right click, "open in new window" or tab or whatever).

Each table will include a copy to the table, too, as you saw in my previous post.

Great, except none of the menu options workin this thread now and you can't scroll down past the Table. Hmmm? I hope you even get this post. I may PM it to you too just in case.

They all work here - menus and scrolling. You may want to make sure that you're not using the scroll mouse while your pointer is over the flash animation - some flash animations "capture" mouse movements (clicks, scrolls, drags, etc.). Some even capture some keys, too. Drag the sroll bar.

Menu works okay too, here.

I can't believe I'm thonly one who can't see beyond the table....I will reboot and see what happens. I couldn't see any posts added to this tread after the table until this last one that reached a new page. In the TEST thread, all I see is the 2 tables and that's it.

Well I've not gotten other confirmations, except that someone else posted in the test thread (just the two tables, but clearly they could scroll, and they edited to add a P.S. after they posted, too).

I'm not saying it works, just that it seems to work for me and (very few) others. I think it will work, too, but there may be an issue or two to check out.

What browser are you using? Specifically (name/version, OS version too).

As I mentioned in the Test thread I had put up when creating the table, I forgot a > at the end of a tag (thus leaving it open). I've fixed it and it is likely this will solve your problem, Donovan.

Some browsers are pickier than others about errors in HTML, which this was on my part.

WEI Table Permenant Sticky...what do you think?

I am not a fan of having lots of Stickys in the Main Forum and it is nice having the WEI Table in the Links. However, I was curious If this shouldn't be a permenant sticky. I was also thinking it could contain a short How to, in a post below it containing codes for an empty table, 9-ball rack, full rack, 10-ball rack, and so forth. Then lock it so we can't post in it and it is just for use.

I also would be willing to chip in some money to get an AZB background on the table.

Any thoughts?
------

WEI Table and Posting Instructions.

The WEI TABLE is a way we can see what someone is describing on a virtual pool table.

You will see code that looks like this:
START(%Pi9O7%eB4a4)END

TO SEE WHAT THE CODE SHOWS ON THE WEI TABLE:
From the post: Copy the entire section from the "S" in START to the "D" in END. Then click the "paste" button in the bottom right corner of the WEI Table. Now you will probably have to hit OK a couple of time depending on your settings.

TO POST YOUR CODE FROM YOUR WEI TABLE SET-UP:
From the WEI Table: After moving the items where you want them, click the "copy" button in the bottom right corner.
Now just put paste the code in your post.

Empty Table:
START(%Pi9O7%eB4a4)END

Full Rack:
START(%AN7O5%BL7P8%CJ5O4%DL7N1%EM7P1%FK6P1%GK6N8%HM7N8%IL7O4%JK6M5%KJ5P7%LJ5N2%MK6Q4%NJ5R0%OJ5M0%Ph9O6)END

and so on.

All that's left is to add some more default racks... right?

Mike said he has one already. When he finds it and installs it over the one we have there now, every post will automatically begin using it.
