i guess i hit a never there sorry.ebay may be for junk only for you,i have bought some very nice cues there at good prices.i bought a 4 point Nitti with veneers for 600 in mint condition.and have seen some super fancy ones go for right at $1000(ones that he would charge $2000+ for).my buddy in Memphis gought one with 4 points and veneers for $400 with no shafts.i really have no clue what you cue you are referring to about the $2500 profit twice in 2 days crap, but you probably should have done it unless you can't do without the cue.i personally like his cues.i just don't think it is a good cue to buy new,b/c wether you like it or not they can be had for alot less slightly used.ebay may not be good for you but it is very helpful in deciding what a cue is worth.it almost sets the market.whether you like it or not.next time i get a Nitti i will remeber that i can sell it you at retail.he must have loads and loads of nice birdseye.every cue i see of his has nice maple.
hey mason the friend of yours who got a nitti without shafts for 400 wouldn't be little nick would it? if so i saw the cue a few weeks ago and he told me the same thing that he got it for 400. he loves it too.

RR - I'm at Chris's house once a week on average (or he comes over here), he just lives down the road.

Here is a link to that cue being made as it progressed: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=50706&highlight=nitti

So maybe I'm a little biased also. But I know most major big name cue makers personally from my travels.

Maybe I'll see you there one day.

;)

Cool , I'm actuallly headed over there this noon to drop off some drawings. ;) Meet ya out front. :D

I've had contact with quite a few myself over ther years , based on my current cue collection , but I've been out of the game for a little while so I'm catching up on some of the 'new' guys.

If your that close to Nitti , we oughta hook up some time.

yes it is nick vita.nice cue for $400.i tried to releive him of it,but he wouldn't let it go.i played 20-30 minutes with it and it plays great.nice soft hit but plenty stiff.

I have 2 now. One I ordered from skip and the sister cue made at the same time for another AZer, but put it up for trade later. I uses the one I got of AZer as my daily hitter. :D Just to make it more fun, I use my RB Hoppe as my break stick.

If anyone on league takes a fancy to the daily hitter, I make sure the signature is not showing and I tell them "its one of them bushka clones made by Adams." = the Adams is in the foreground. ;)

Do you think, they are twins?

Bugs

jerry rauenzahn made me the red ring cue exactly the same in 2003. maybe my favorite cue ever.

Another vote for Nitti

Chris Nitti. His cues play great, the workmanship is flawless and he is a really nice fellow to deal with.
