"We" talk so much @ the US team possibilities. So what @ team Euro?
Who do you think will make it?

It doesn't really matter, now does it.
It doesn't really matter, now does it.
Lets see...
Appleton
Ralf
Mika
Thorsten
Niels
Shaw
Melling
Econolodge
Burford
Boyes
Peach
Ortmann
Van Den Berg
The also rans would be Engert and Eckert....
15 players who would be favorites or coin flips at best against any of our guys but Shane if the idea of new blood is spot on.......
Maybe just for this year, while USA are regrouping, an all UK Team would suffice.
Appleton
Peach
Boyes
Melling
Shaw
But that is still frightening with these on the bench
Burford
Gray
Majid
O'Sullivan
White

Hypothetically speaking... Let's assume 6 2013 Euro & US players breached contractual codes of conduct. Do they get to dance at the next ball? I sure hope not. I am also in Griffin's corner. Shots across the bow.
Get a surfboard; tides a'rising. JMHO.

If you want world class pool, how about the Euros vs. Asia?
Could call it the "Silk Road Games (for those who flunked History, the Silk Road is the classic trade route between "east" and "west").
Other ideas:
The "Continental Games" with teams form N. America, S. America, Europe and Asia.
Or an invitational "International Games" with the teams from US, Canada, GB, Germany, China, Brazil, Russia and the Philippines?
How 'bout any of the above with teams of three men and three women?
