Now that it has it's own thread, who is going this weekend?

Hope to see some of you there.

Not me alas, unless you can think of a way to convince my wife a pool tournament is the perfect getaway for our anniversary.

Can't help you on that one Steve but congratulations on the anniversary.

Well, if we're going to do a Joss Season Finale roll call, Keith and JAM are going! Picture below provided by CSSuits of Rochester, New York!

I am hoping my "new" used laptop will hook up okay at Turning Stone Casino. Last Turning Stone event, I had no problems with the dial-up mode via the hotel room phone. If there's anything noteworthy, I'll post it up as the events unfold. Diana Hoppe will be on site providing the real nitty gritty of the tournament details and some great snapshots of the players. :)

There won't be any action reports by way of pool to give, but you can be sure there will be plenty of gambling in the casino. Look for me at the dice tables. ;)

I am looking forward to meeting up with many AzB-ers in attendance and maybe make a few new friends along the way! :p

Two more days of hell in the cockpit here in D.C. at work, and then I'm out of here! :D

My plans for staying the weekend fell through, but it looks like we'll be there Sat for the day.

We'll have to figure out where and when to catch up.

John

I'm heading down from Ontario, Canada on Saturday for sure with my wife and possibly on Thursday with a buddy also. Looking forward to watching some good pool.

If there is enough interest maybe we should try to meet up at a certain location on Saturday.
JAM might be the best at knowing a good spot because I haven't been there in about 8 years.

I'm up for it if everyone else is interested.

Hey Koop, the wife is softening up on Sunday so I might be there then. If I am I hope there are more than 3 matches left. Look for you if I'm there.

Koop, it will be logistically difficult to meet up at a certain time, mainly because at this juncture nobody knows what times the matches are going to be occurring. It may be better to just try to plan something when we get there after seeing the tournament chart.

Looking forward to leaving TOMORROW: On the road again. Just can't wait to get on that road again.... :p

Sounds good Jennie. I will look for you once I get settled and hopefully get a chance to meet a few more AZers.

JZ,
Shoot me an email prior to Friday and we can meet up at a specific time on Saturday.

Steve,
I'll be leaving early Sunday so I probably won't be able to see you up there. If you make it up, have a great time.

Please see me about directions on getting home. are you planning on taking 90 west all the way over and back. if so on the way back you might have to take 90 east and then take 87 south to exit 22 i believe to pick up 90 east again as there wil be lane closures on 90 east over the weekend. they have detours up but if you stay on the NYS thruway and pick up 87 south at exit 24 you can go a few miles south and pick up the exit for Mass./Boston. just thought you might like to be fore warned. see you in a couple of days at turning stone................................................mike

Here is the match schedule that I received. I hope they will stick to it but don't blame me if they don't. Hope it helps you guys plan.

Saturday - 10am, 12, 2, 4, 6, 9 & 11pm
Sunday - 2, 4, 6 & 9pm (finals)

Hey Mike,

Thanks for the info. That is actually the route I always take when coming and going but I appreciate the info. I'd rather go around Albany than right through it.

See you there,
Koop

well for the last 2 months they have been closing 1 side or the other on weekends from 9pm on friday night to 6 am monday morning. this month it is the east bound side from exit 2 to exit 5. so the problem you would have is on the return sunday night. coming over is no problem and should be clear sailing....................................mike
