Why 2 Shafts?

Its the ones with 4-5 shafts that blow my mind...

In my case, the original shafts were both re-tapered by the second owner and I didn't like them when I bought the cue. I had two new ones made by Dan Dishaw to my specs. I now play with all four of them. What blows my mind are the ones with one shaft

How many years does it take to wear out a shaft?:grin:

I play pool with a guy that has a 10 year old shaft and another guy has sanded his almost to death in a year.........................

I don't always play pool...



But when I do, I make sure I have twenty shafts.

I like to have two so I can try different tips, and I like to be able to quickly get back to playing if I pop a tip off.

I've always been envious of snakes. They have two "shafts" that turn inside out and disappear into their body for protection when not in use!
