In order for this sport to grow we have to have great venues.
When a child is wanting to become a basketball star, he dreams of playing in Madison square
When you want to become a football star, you dream of playing in your favorite teams stadium
the same can be said about golf, tennis or any other major sport
So why is pool any different?
At the pro level it should be a great show at a great venue. Also a venue that fans will come to and enjoy their stay with plenty to do,
Why shouldn't pro pool be played at the biggest venues with the biggest stages? Who would want to go pro in a sport just to play in bars all the time?
