Why are YOU buying Pool cue on eBay?

I agree 100%, i just recently discover that not selling on Az for long time its become a waste of my time here to move anything. Nothing but trades & tire kickers.
Both of you need to price your shit realistically, if it does not sell here then you are way above market.

This site is not stupid like the flippers on eBay, we actually know what this shit is worth... Minus your feelz.

FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR wider selection on Ebay for one thing. Why do you care what other sellers do? None of your business how/where they sell. Also a lot of AZ sellers seem to think their shit is made of solid gold. Some of the prices are a joke.
eBay is way more fucked up in the pricing space. I just tried to deal with some dude trying to get 8K for what he thinks is a 1of1 Joss West that Bill Stroud himself told him to insure it for $20,000.

It's one of Bills plain cues with rosewood butt and rosewood points four veneers and no inlays, stitched rings.

But to this guy it's quite simply the greatest masterpiece of cue building ever made.

Can't wait to buy it from one of his kids for $300 bucks once he's dead.

I will always try and use AZ but living in the UK anything under around $300 I will put on eBay, plus I know some cues just will not sell on here.
When I do place an advertisement on here I will always include everything in the price shown, PayPal fees, shipping and insurance, make things a lot easier.

Very simple reasons……..the cue hasn’t yet successfully sold and the seller is eager to sell it, the cue was already listed on Az but only received low ball offers or none at all, eBay offers a much larger viewing audience than Az for overall selling exposure and buyers generally have much higher trust in eBay because it will intercede if there’s a dispute between the buyer and seller whereas Az is strictly caveat emptor. The aforementioned makes it pretty clear why folks will utilize eBay to shop, buy and sell pool cues and related billiards paraphernalia, including cases and accessories. Lastly, Az has a more knowledgeable base of potential buyers so the seller will get questions about the cue they can’t answer because they either don’t know or maybe want to avoid answering so any potential cue flaws would become exposed and undermine the potential sale.

I've listed a couple custom auto parts on Ebay this year and pulled them due to lack of views.
Sort of a niche market but still should get more than 1 or 2 view in a few days.
I think they want everyone to pay extra to "boost" their circulation.

Avoid fraud and idiots that want me to use apps that are strictly for paid items in person or money transfers to people you personally know. These apps have a high risk of fraud and dummies use them to buy good and services with no recourse for fraud protection. Thousands are subject to fraud everyday.

There is a trust factor and being able to get my money back with ebay. AZ not so much. I just get to slam this guys name. So is the extra $$ worth it. YES!!!
If a cue is so poorly represented here - the guy will get one sale and never again. Lots of e bay sellers sell crap over and over again. E bay will not refund over cue straightness disputes - they only force refunds on cues if they are not delivered as pictured. It has to be a very very obvious fraud for e bay to force a refund.

nobody dumb enough pay retail for 1. I been around dealing cues for 40 years.
Well there are many online billiard sites like Seyberts that sell thousands of cues a year at retail. Many, many new cues are sold at retail every day online. Every distributor of production cues is technically selling at retail- when selling to the end user.
The production run of 50 GB SLE3 cues is close to sold out and were sold by retail online outlets at $2400- so many folks pay full retail for cues. I grabbed the used one online here last week for $575 and it is close to perfect.
