why can't I post reply on the FS thread

I want to buy something from a user at FS forums and it says I don't have privilege to do it. Could anybody tell me why?

Used to be different but there were complaints about unfair early bumping of threads so they removed the rights to post in them.

Of course now there are complaints that people can't post in them.

So go figure.

I think the FS section is more of a Classified Section than a forum, now. You can only communicate with the original poster via PM, and the thread can only be bumped once every 48 hours by the original poster.

I personally liked it much better when there was open communication, but that is just me.
