Why Did Earl Forfeit?

I'm not a fan of either one and know both. One is out for attention and the other is out for $$$..... pool itself is not their main motivation.

I would rather play Earl though because he has so many "easy" buttons to push to rattle him (I'd like to draw him first round next week @ Capones). Charlie barely squeeked by me last time by winning the flip so I wouldn't mind playing him again either.

(and Doug can bring the pizza because it may upset Earl if I get a Dominos delivery in the middle of our match. )

Well, there's the time that Charlie's match was called at Planet 9-Ball against an unknown 15 year old young kid and Charlie didn't show up. The kid asked for a forfeit and Charlie and the TD made up some lame excuse and postponed Charlie's match until the second round (even the person doing the chart and calling the matches and all the other players knew the excuse was bogus). Charlie just couldn't drag his privledged character butt all the way from Orlando, FL. to Tampa,FL. in time for his match, when other players got there ON TIME from all over the country.
Charlie said later that he had it all smoothed over with the kid and was going to give him some 'patches' for his shirt. This was a couple of years ago and the last that I heard, the kid didn't have the patches (although I haven't confirmed that info with the kid...but I could).
I have a VERY interesting tidbit about the THIS tournament, but I can't tell it without getting an 'invited player' in trouble....( and I like the player )

I think another time "Drama Queen" Earl got all tangled up in his panties @ Planet 9-Ball was at a kid named Joey for wearing a pair of jeans (not blue). They were the table next to my match and I told Earl to take it elsewhere.................

That Joey wasn't you by any chance was it?

I believe Doug was there railbirding as usual so he would remember the kid.

At every tournament Earl plays at someone should bring a big box of Kleenex with "Earl" written on it and sit it on the rail close to where his match is..... (Easy Button #2081)

That was Joey Korsiak. That was the tournament where he quit after the match with Joey and he was in such a hurry to make his Grand Exit that he demanded to be paid RIGHT NOW and stormed out. What he didn't even realize was that he should have moved UP a bracket (because he won the match) and took about half of what he actually had coming to him. Everyone got a good laugh at him and his antics.....
That's also the tournament where someone had bought him in the calcutta for $400.
