Why do I like the cues

Because the cuemaker knows best.
I am not sure what the question is exactly.
I think you are asking why others like the cue they are playing with ... correct?
There are so many styles of play and preferences between pool players that no one cue could ever suit everyone.
A great playing cue in the hands of one player can feel like a POS in another's.
I guess that is why there are so many different cue makers and cues to choose from.
The hardest part is learning what YOU like before spending a ton of money to find that out.
We are lucky here in Corpus Christi, Texas as we have Robin Adair's Pro shop.
Robin will freely offer advice and let you shoot with different styles and types of cues to see what suits you best.
He has so many years of experience as a top tier player and a dealer his advice is golden.
