Why do Pool Players Unconsciously NOT Want to Improve?

This has effected the growth of the game, it creates a scenario that prevents the passion for improvement.

Hopefully there will be another alternative before long.

The problam is pool gets the after wash of the eye hand skilled people ,, pool is either just something they do on the side or the only thing left for them to compeate in,, pool is rarely ever the first choice ,, Why would it be it pays peanuts so there's realy no real incentive to inprove

Anybody ever stop to think there is much more involved in just getting up out of a chair and walking across the room than there is to playing championship pool?

Hu

This room must be filled with long-tailed cats and rocking chairs. :groucho:

Playing at the championship level requires knowledge, dedication, imagination and perseverance.... the journey has been well worth the self-sacrifice, and the best is yet to come. imho

God gave me the ability to teacher pool and that's what I will continue to focus on.

As a prime example of an "after wash" person I can say with certainly that pool is my passion, and after playing pool with some of the greatest athletes in history I can say the same for them.

Doing something I love in life is the greatest accomplishment I could imagine.

I'd rather do something I love for "peanuts," than something I don't like for millions. I generated over 5% of a Billion Dollars in the bar business, and I'll not continue that as a career. God gave me the ability to teacher pocket billiard, golf, tennis, mental, and martial arts techniques, and that's what I will continue to focus on.
