Why do you need 25 posts to view action forum???

I would like for someone to tell me the reason that you need 25 posts to read the posts in the action forum?? I am very confused by the reasoning for this. Please explain.
 
Maybe you can try the search function. There are multiple threads discussing the reasonings.

I think it is to keep sc5 from creating new screen names and jumping on there. It gives people time to figure him out on pther forums first. Just a guess.
 
yeah, well I'm not him and I want to see the action. I'll just post 19 more dumb responses to peoples dumb questions on here til I get 25. 6 and counting...
 
lets just have a convo til we get there...where you from in VA? I played in Mannassas (sp?) one time and had a blast - How many people have said that...

This is effectively known as the SC5 rule, some donkey who makes new usernames after he is banned to try and get action.

This will work great! Use the search funtion and search 'post padding'

Well thats OK, they seem fine to let people pad their post count with useless banter in the main forum now. It is awesome, great change.
 
Many message boards have post requirements for specific forums. Another board I am on will not even let you view certain forums under a specific count number. I think its a good idea. Too many people want to post under different names and it helps reduce this. When you get to 2000 posts you get to see the whole naked video section on Non Pool Related! Some people still think its a myth! ;)

I have no idea how to search for things...All I want to do is get on here and read what action is happening, and now I can't. Maybe my time is more valuable than most on here I guess, but I cant sit around and post everyday, all day. It's alright though, at this rate I'll be able to read the action room by VF 8-ball. Then I'll really bark, lol.
