Why don't rooms have monthly swap meets?

Bring in stuff to sell or swap. That's a good way to find that that special cue that feels just right.

A SWAP MEET is a fine idea.
Harvey's Billiards in Renton WA. holds one each first Sunday of the month. Sold an old Huebler for $100 and picked up a jump/break cue for $45. I also got to test-drive a few nice cues.
An outlet to find some good deals and try new things, make a dollar too.
Start your own pool swap meet.

Where I play there is one every Sat. They call it a tournament, but there is everything from watches to tool to cues being swapped there.

Great idea! Put it with a monthly 8, 9, 10 Ball or some other Tournament might get some people out playing a Tournament again.
