Why has no one beat Mosconi's high run?

If we agree with Mr. Schmidt that there are about 6 players who could break the mark, who would the 6 players be? Hohmann, Schmidt, Appleton, Feijen, Engert come to mind. Anybody else?

I don't know if it's worth $250K, but if anyone thinks John Schmidt or anyone can do it they should set up the same table somewhere and let them go at it and have it all recorded on video. I would imagine the rights to the recording is worth quite a few dollars in sales if they were to beat Mosconi's record.

If it is so easy, I would think they would jump on this "quick, easy money" offer and then they could sell the DVDs and keep all the money.

I think you are joking, but even if you were not, only 4 people would buy the tape, and the rest of the pool world, would have copies of them.

I would bet that odds would have to be laid for $$ wagering one way or the other because $$ would tilt to the nays. I would bet against no matter the conditions.

The mindset would be entirely different for a player to soberly realize he must run a certain amount of balls. Too much pressure.
