Why I Moan & A Death

This guy is sliiiicckkkk, everyone... After everyone starts posting that they are through with him, he comes on here with a post that is just contrite enough to get some people feeling sorry for him again (along with the death story that I think is total BS, btw. YES, DCP.. Post the article, please.. I think you are just manipulating people into responding positively to your threads again..), but he STILL puts that ONE LAST NEGATIVE in the last sentence (when those bad rolls start to happen ) to fuel a little lambasting.

He is playing everyone like a fiddle. All his threads are engineered to get the most responses possible, because he likes the attention, so he puts some stuff in there for you to feel sorry for him, but he also puts some negativity in there to make some people pissed off at him.

Then, the "feel sorry" crowd starts arguing with the "ban DCP" crowd, and he then just sits backs and watches, and it is an extremely cheap entertainment for him.

Ron was an ex-navy chief, and had been here about 3-4 years. he hired in with a handful of other recently retired chiefs, they were all very well acquainted and had worked and served together in the Navy.

so, i am not sick after all. and i dont really appreciate all the trash a handful of posters send my way. but then again, this is a free forum, so thats the perogative of posters to do so. just like its my choice to post diagrams, shots, and yes, moan and groan about things.

Regards,
DCP

He said "slick", not "sick".

Meh.. I think the mere fact that you get off on preying on helpful people on here for your own enjoyment is pretty sick, so I wouldn't put it past you.

And I find it quite convenient that there is no way to prove that you did not simply pluck that story out of your local newspaper for your own use.

You have made it your mission on here to make people feel sorry for you, and just when a great majority of people commit to ignoring you, you THAT VERY DAY have a death in your workplace?

Right.... I'm gullible enough to believe this, DCP.. I really, really am. I noticed that in your news story, it did not have anything about him being in the Navy. And I don't know too many retired Navy people that move out in the middle of nowhere, but have a good job, but decide to ride around on a tractor for fun...

Your entire story sounds implausible, given your history. There is one positive aspect to this.. Even though it was tragic that a man died, when his obituary comes out, it will prove once and for all whether you are a manipulative nut or not, because it will say whether he was in the Navy.

Care to change your story?

Russ

Hey DCP, wanna know another reason I think you are full of **** on this death being related to your work? Because that tractor was 50 years old. I suppose this ex Navy man decided to move to Illinois to farm for some reason, and then decided to buy a 50 year old tractor. Uh huh.

More likely, he was some old farmer who has lived there for 30-40 years, and you lifted his death story from your local newspaper to get a little sympathy from the board.

I will make it my personal mission to show people what a sociopath your are if I can find out that's what you did..

Care to change your story?

i'll be glad to post the complete obituary once it appears in the local paper. and to suggest what you are suggesting Russ is, i think, completely inappropriate for not just this forum, but in pretty much any situation. it is bordering on sick if you ask me.

i have yet to use the ignore button myself, but you are getting close.

i would venture to say the overwhelming majority of posters out there are understanding of this. and while i admit i do pi~ss and moan about bad luck and not getting better, the majority understand and are tolerable of me. and they know i appreciate their tolerance.

DCP

Sorry

How about this? I am sorry for the man that died, and I am sorry if you were close to him. However, what does his death have to do with the fact that you (DCP) don't listen to people? What does his death have to do with the fact that your mental state is so negative everytime you play pool?

His death has nothing to do with why you moan! He was alive when you posted all your bad rolls! Or at least I think he was alive!

You notice in most people's responce they didn't even talk about the death. I think that is because this death has nothing to do with why he moans about pool in general, and it is irrelevant to this thread!

i guess its like some have told me in the PMs i get, some people cant read. or dont take the time too.

the initial paragraph was for Elvicash, regarding possibly hooking up to play this weekend. had nothing to do with moaning, bad rolls, etc.

geez people...........

As it turns out, most of the world is destined to be mediocre at pool. Unfortunately - you, me, and the vast majority of posters here also appear to be in this boat.

Also, it is clear that after all the time/money/effort you have invested - you aren't getting to the level you want. At some point you have to resign yourself to never going pro, never figuring "it" out, and never getting to the top. There are other things in life to stress about...

As my buddy Damin has said to many players - "Embrace the fact that you will never go pro and you will enjoy the game much more."

-td

The bottom line to ALL the advice that we give and get on here reminds me of a somewhat cliche saying...."you can lead a horse to water, but you cant make him drink". Maybe someone will give advice to a player (DCP for example), but it may help someone elses game as well. Thats the beauty of an open public forum. JMO.

Yea but!

Yea I saw that his post was for that dude reguarding getting together this week.

However, why not PM that dude or call that dude or whatever. You wouldn't post that in the forum unless you were looking for a sympathy vote.

That is what Russ was trying to say.

The fact that his friend died has nothing to do with this thread, and he could have started another thread to tell his buddy he couldn't get together this week, or better yet he could have PM'd him.

It is only natural to think he is trying to play the sympathy vote to keep people on his side!

weeehey there. now thats what i call a reality check. depressing yes, but true lol. :(

I'm sorry to hear about the death, DCP. I do find it quite distasteful that you didn't make the first paragraph of your post a PM to the single person you were directing that to. To me it seems like you are using the tragic death of that person in hopes to prevent people from taking harsh tones with you. I find that pretty shameful.

DCP - you shouldn't use a tradgedy as an excuse about your pool, or use it for anything in this forum. It is in bad taste plain and simple, and this thread should be stopped. Baddddd karma.

it was posted simply because i knew that if some posters found out i had a chance to meet up with and play someone, and didnt go, i would get hounded big time. the paragraph was to show everyone that there is a very good reason why i dont think i can accomodate Elvicash this weekend.

if the mods want to close this thread, thats ok with me. but i am still going to post the man's obit. once it is online so all the decent, tolerable posters on here will know i am being straight.

death, smeath.........unfortunately people die all the time.

I do believe that you used that as more of a diversionary tactic than anything else. Good grab for the sympathy vote.

But, none from me buddy, you do NOTHING but bum me out......

Russ.....

Hey everyone.. I found a club that Mr. Schwartz was a member of, and have contacted by email one of the chair persons to verify information given by DCP.

DCP, care to change your story?
