Why is Darts doing better than any Cuesport ?

Ya can't shoot darts unless you drink beer. Period. If you try to not indulge , your a sissy. Even the pros in tournaments drink beer. Or at least make it look like they do. The most repeated words in darts are," Play ya for a pitcher,"

I can't drink for medical reasons...meds I'm on do not mix with alcohol.
So, I guess I'll forget darts, stick to pool.

Darts is the only sport in the world i can think of where there is absolutely no luck or interference from referees/judges/officials

It's indoors so there is no weather element, it's purely who is better at the game

I think every sport has some luck involved. Just some have more or less than others. Darts is not the exception. Heck, my 11 y/o son can toss a bulls eye now and again !!
