WHY IS IT CALLED A 'PIN"?

OTFR & LOL,

They probably thought you were talking about that red suite, and hat with the feather in It, on Big "G" up there Jazz. where can a fellow get a suite like that. be a big dog rolling up in the pool hall here with that on. definatly stand out. huh you think that's where the GB pin came from LOL. maybe old G allowed extra funds for nasa to develop the material or something.

Maybe I'm the only one who doesn't know what OFTR means...sorry!
I forgot about the Bling Avitar! I think his old man helped fund the pin to be honest! I've seen guys in pool halls dressed like that on days that weren't Halloween! Don't remember how much they were playin' for, but I will always remember the yellow pimp suit! And I still think with so many people looking for flashy cues, maybe "Bling" is kinda appropriate![/QUOTE]

On the floor rolling. Yeah to be honest not so unusual to see a suite like that here these days even in the good ol south. especially farther south in miami. been around since the tubs and crockett days down there. bling cues better copyright if not too late.
what about a joint with a tenon that uses a compression type design so the center of the wood makes full contact, and no pin or thread in the middle. Has anyone done that? If not copyrighted it yet, i said it first on AZ LOL. Sure It's been done though, but never seen It. it would have to pull the 2 sections tight at the same time though to work properly. don't know what kind of hit it would produce.

No picking on Miami Vice...They made it possible for the kids in Chicago to wear Pink collared shirts! Also, I wouldn't be able pick on my friend when we're on gigs together and he rolls up the sleeves on his suit jacket!
I'm trying to picture that joint with a tennon...
How about a "T" shaped pin that locks into the shaft?

It was SOOOOO the best. Jimmy Fallon was cracking up the whole time. So bad, he had to get back behind the drumset so it would be less noticible!
Cue Crazy,
How about that "T" shaped pin? Think it's plausable?

Hey Guys, is it possible to talk and chat about things that matter to those who are here to help and or learn.
PINS, SCREWS, what differance does it make.We all know what there for.
Why not talk about cues and cue repair? Why waist the time and space?

Well, not only did you waste time reading this thread you wasted more time calling it a waste of time. Now you got me wasting my time responding to your post...

I do not, however, find the original topic a waste of time or space. It is cue-related, and it was posted by a cuemaker!
